After a whirlwind of a year, I am more than glad that it is over. And now life after school, lesson planning, grading, late nights, no sleep, music programs and recitals and lessons and STRESS can begin again!! I am so glad to have a chance to catch up and try to get back to normal life again, whatever that means. I am glad for a chance to stop and reflect over the past years and the many lessons that have been learned. Stopping is a wonderful and important thing in life.
We are currently in North Carolina at the Outer Banks! What a beautiful beach setting and we have enjoyed riding the incredible waves every day. It is great to have a chance to relax and catch up on reading and rest. Next we will be traveling to Boone in the mountains of Western N.C. for 5 days and then up to Wash. D.C. for the weekend before leaving for Akron for Al's wedding! My family will be meeting us in D.C. for some sightseeing.
We will have 3 weeks when we return to Denver before leaving for the Philippines on July 25th. Hopefully there will be time for some climbing and hiking before we leave! We are excited for the adventure ahead. There will be many opportunities at the school and in the area for traveling.
I'll try to update more frequently and I can't wait to see a lot of you at the wedding!!
:)

Hey Ames! Where the heck are all your fascinating blog entries and photos of life in the Phillipines? I would love to hear how everything is going.
